Apple cider donuts are my all time favorite donuts. I've been determined to make my own – an apple cider donut with so much flavor that rolling it in sugar or glazing it is optional. It's best eaten plain, to really appreciate the tang of the apple cider flavor and sit in that glory. These donuts keep fairly well and are best eaten once they have come to room temp. It’s beautiful and perfect. It’s my dream.
